S. Korea reports 38 new COVID-19 cases on Tues., mostly church-tied virus cases Updated: 2020-06-02 13:59:09 KST

South Korea reported 38 new cases of COVID-19 on Tuesday most of them linked to the recent cluster at churches in the Seoul area.
The concern is that the church cases could lead to another big wave because the people at the church in Incheon where the cluster spread from did not wear masks to their services, leading to the infection of more than 70 percent of the worshippers there.
Of the 24 people infected at that church, 17 had no symptoms.
In this cluster, so far a total of 45 people have been infected at 23 churches in the metropolitan area.
There was one additional death, …bringing the death toll to two-hundred-72.
