South Korea in the first half of this year saw its highest-ever exports of agricultural and fisheries products.
According to the Agriculture Ministry, exports were up 14.6 percent from a year earlier to around 6.2 billion U.S. dollars.
Korean food is becoming more popular around the world.
Growth in farm exports was led by instant noodles and rice, while fisheries products were led by dried seaweed.
The ministry said that the government is going to help the logistics industry to support this momentum.
