President Yoon Suk-yeol is emphasizing the need for global solidarity to address the world's economic difficulties.
Meeting with his senior secretaries Monday morning, President Yoon said there were calls for international solidarity at last week's NATO summit to deal with inflation and supply chain issues.
He also orderedfollow-up measures based on his trip to Spain for the summit, where he discussed with world leaders ways to expand cooperation on nuclear energy, arms sales and semiconductors.
President Yoon said he was able to reaffirm coordination with NATO on the North Korea nuclear issue and on common values likefreedom, human rights and the rule of law.
