The number of new emission-free vehicles, including electric and hydrogen cars, more than doubled last year.
According to the Environment Ministry on Thursday, 109-thousand zero-emission cars were supplied last year, accounting for about 6 percent of the total 1.7-5 million new vehicles.
The number of new electric vehicles increased by more than twofold, while the number of hydrogen cars jumped 46 percent.
The ministry plans to provide subsidies to have more zero-emission vehicles this year with about 200-thousand electric vehicles receiving subsidies.
