Seoul Business Agency is hosting its 2021 Trade Week, the first of its kind.
The organization, which supports SMEs with overseas marketing and export expansion, is holding the four-day event at the FIC Convention Hall on Sebitseom Island in Seoul.
It aims to give local businesses an opportunity to promote their products through a range of programs.
This includes one-on-one meetings with overseas buyers, livestream shopping, and product launch shows.
The head of Seoul Business Agency expressed hopes the events will lead to some fruitful outcomes.
"We put a lot of effort in bringing foreign buyers into our database platform. We hope it will give small and medium-sized enterprises a good chance to see that overseas exports can be achieved through this event."
Some 300 SMEs are taking part in over 12-hundred online export meetings with international buyers from more than 20 countries.
A global trade conference will also be held, with prestigious speakers from both home and abroad sharing their views on the latest international trends and strategies.
