BTS was the third most streamed artist this year.
That is according to data released by music service Spotify, adding the band ranked first in global streaming numbers for Korean acts.
Puerto Rican rapper Bad Bunny took the number one spot, followed by American singer-songwriter Taylor Swift.
The data also showed K-pop's rising popularity in the global market.
The total number of streams by the top 10 K-pop artist groups including Blackpink and Twice hit 13.7 billion, 29 percent higher compared to the previous year.
