The recent shortage of diesel exhaust fluid in South Korea could be just one of many supply issues that can harm the country in the near future.
Seoul is highly dependent on a single import source for many other key materials -- such as magnesium.

Experts say there are already signs of issues in importing magnesium from China, raising risks for the chip and auto industries.
They advise discussing diversification of import channels to reduce such risks.
