Seoul and Washington have held high-level disarmament and non-proliferation talks as a follow-up to the Moon-Biden summit in May.
At the meeting on Tuesday in Washington, Seoul's deputy foreign minister for multilateral affairs, Ham Sang-wook met U.S. under-secretary for arms control and international security, Bonnie Jenkins.
They agreed to keep cooperating on the non-proliferation of nuclear and biochemical weapons as well as on new security issues, including space.
They also agreed to maintain close communication regarding a non-proliferation treaty meeting slated for January and to hold the 5th 'Space Policy Dialogue' in Seoul next year.
