Ratings agency Fitch will keep South Korea's stable credit rating at Double A Minus.
It says that South Korea has shown significant recovery amid the pandemic and is likely to have strong growth in the medium-term.
At a web seminar on Wednesday, a Fitch official said South Korea has had solid exports and the manufacturing sector prospered as global demand for semiconductors and electronic devices soared during the outbreak.
The official added that the country's vaccination drive and firm consumer sentiment will be the driving force behind continued economic growth.
But he said there could be some aspects that are risk factors including increasing government debt, an aging population and tensions in the Korean Peninsula..
