The warm, summer-like conditions from last week have mostly faded now, and chilly autumn weather has begun here in South Korea. Expect breezy conditions with cloudy skies to hold for tomorrow in most regions. For some southern parts of the country, rain will linger until tonight. Showers will last a bit longer for Jeju Island until tomorrow morning. Expect about 10 to 60 millimeters of rainfall.
We’ll be seeing a dramatic change in the weather this week, with temperatures plummeting significantly. On Saturday, nationwide showers are in the forecast. After the rain on Sunday, lows in the capital region will drop to 2 degrees Celsius. This is about 9 degrees lower than what we normally see at this time of the year. Our immune systems become weaker under such unseasonably cold conditions. So, please take extra care of your health at this time.
Aside from Jeju Island where lows will start off at 23 degrees, mornings elsewhere will be below 20 degrees Celsius. Seoul will start off at 15 degrees.
Daytime highs in Seoul and Busan will reach 25 degrees. Gwangju 27. Jeju 26 degrees. Air quality will be in the 'good' category nationwide.
That's all for now, and here are the weather conditions around the world.
