South Korea's exports so far this month are up more than 60 percent from a year ago led by chips, steel and petroleum products.
The Korea Customs Service says the exports in the first ten days of October came to around 15.two billion U.S. dollars, an increase on year of 63.5 percent.
By sector, exports of semiconductors rose 22 percent while steel products were up more than 1-hundred-60 percent.
And with oil prices soaring right now, outbound shipments of petroleum products were up more than 200 percent.
Exports have been rising on year now for eleven months in a row.
