Back for a second time, this year's Joseon Royal Tombs Festival starts tomorrow in six cities across the Seoul metropolitan area, including the capital itself.
It's a joint project between the Cultural Heritage Administration and the Korea Cultural Heritage Foundation to celebrate the Joseon Dynasty's royal court culture.
Because of the pandemic the event will mostly be held online using interactive video and sound.
There will be some on-site activity though including a stamp tour where participants can visit the tombs in-person.
Another, separate tomb festival will be held in Jinju, Gyeongsangnam-do Province and Gyeongju, Gyeongsangbuk-do Province in the following weeks and next month.
