Overcast skies and rain overnight for central regions... late seasonal heat for the south Updated: 2021-10-05 17:06:36 KST

The sky above central and southern regions will be distinctly different tomorrow. While a mix of cloudy skies and scattered outbreaks of rain will be seen over central regions, unseasonable heat will prevail in the south. Places like Damyang in Jeollanam-do Province will see highs near 30 degrees Celsius.

As for the amount of rain, northern Gangwon-do province will see the most rainfall, with up to 100 millimeters. Locally heavy downpours of 20 millimeters per hour are possible. The Seoul metropolitan area and parts of Chungcheong-do and Gyeongsangbuk-do provinces can expect 5 to 20 millimeters.

Areas of dense fog will form over southern regions tomorrow. Morning lows in Seoul will start off at 19 degrees and Daegu at 18 degrees.

For the daytime, central regions will be 2 to 4 degrees lower than today, while the rest of the country will be similar. Seoul will get up to 21 degrees. Daegu and Gyeongju 23. Gwangju 29 degrees.

With the rain, temperatures will stay relatively breezy this week. Showers will continue for central regions until Thursday.

That's all for now, and here are the weather conditions around the world.
