This summer saw a rebound in international travel as vaccines were rolled out and countries got rid of some quarantine restrictions.
According to the World Tourism Organization, in July, around 54 million tourists crossed international borders, the highest figure since April.
From the same month in 2020, that was an increase of 58 percent.
But its still only about a third of the number who traveled internationally in July 2019.
Then it was about 164 million people.
The WTO said global tourism is not expected to return to pre-pandemic levels until 2023 or 2024.
