North Korea says it's too early to discuss ending Korean War, requested U.S. to first withdraw hostile policies Updated: 2021-09-24 06:17:17 KST

Breaking news.
North Korea has said it is too early to call for the end of the Korean War.
The North's Vice Foreign Minister on Friday said through its state news agency that nothing will change as long as the political situation surrounding Pyeongyang remains the same,…specifically Washington's hostile policies.
He added that declaring an end to the Korean War at this point in time will not bring stability to the peninsula, but instead could be misused to cover up how the United States has been treating the North.
This comes just days after President Moon Jae-in proposed the two Koreas, China, and the U.S. engage in diplomatic talks to end the war that has continued since 1950.
