Nationwide rain tomorrow... strong winds to batter west coastal areas Updated: 2021-09-06 17:15:08 KST

The autumn breeze and sunshine were both nice to have for the weekend, but conditions have gotten murky again as of this morning. This is because rain clouds have settled over the nation starting on the west coast earlier today. Showers have already started tonight in the Seoul metropolitan area and parts of Chungcheong-do and Jeolla-do provinces. They will spread nationwide overnight. Also, those across the west coast should be extra careful of gusty offshore winds.

The northern parts of the country will see the most amount of rain this time. Central regions, coastal areas of Jeollanam-do province and Jeju Island can expect 30 to 80 millimeters. Inland areas of Gyeongsang-do province will see 5 to 30 millimeters.

By the morning tomorrow, the rain will have spread nationwide. As for the readings, Seoul and Chuncheon will begin at 19 degrees Celsius.

Daytime highs will be about 3 to 4 degrees lower than today. Seoul will get up to 24 degrees. Gyeongju and Busan 28. Gwangju 27 degrees.

Showers will continue for the Seoul metropolitan area and Jeolla-do province until Wednesday morning. After the rain, temperature gaps will widen again.

That's all for now, and here are the weather conditions around the world.
