Central regions to see clear spells this weekend...be wary of wide temperature gaps Updated: 2021-09-03 17:02:23 KST

Central regions, including the Seoul metropolitan area, will be under clear skies and sunshine this weekend. But mornings and nights will still be relatively cool and breezy, which will widen the temperature gaps to near 10 degrees Celsius. On the other hand, southern regions will be under patchy cumulus clouds, which means that clouds will be covering the sky for most of the time. On-and-off showers may come without notice, so for those in the area, please have your umbrellas handy when heading out.

Coastal areas of the East and southern regions, apart from Gyeongsangnam-do Province, will see 5 to 20 millimeters. Jeju Island can expect 10 to 40 millimeters. Most of the rain will taper off by tomorrow morning, except on Jeju Island, where showers will last a bit longer.

For the morning tomorrow, Seoul and Daejeon will begin at 18 degrees.

Daytime highs will be about 1 to 2 degrees lower than today. Seoul and Gwangju will get up to 28 degrees. Daejeon and Daegu 27 degrees.

Sunny skies are expected in the capital area, for both Saturday and Sunday. Next Tuesday, nationwide showers are in the forecast.

That's all for now, and here are the weather conditions around the world.
