Rain to ease off for central regions tonight...continuous rain in southern regions Updated: 2021-09-01 17:02:48 KST

A lot of rain was recorded in many parts of the country today, due to locally heavy downpours from last night. If we take a look at the total amount of rainfall, Gangnam-gu District in Seoul recorded 107 millimeters. Hongseong in Chungcheong-do Province recorded 180.5 millimeters.

Showers have now tapered off in central regions, but rain bands are still lingering across the south of the Peninsula. More showers are forecast for southern regions tomorrow, with about 5 to 40 millimeters. The amount of rain won't be too much, but the ground is already saturated from the previous downpours. Additional rain may cause landslides or flooding more easily, so please take extra precautions.

Morning lows tomorrow will range from 18 to 25 degrees Celsius nationwide.

As for the daytime, highs will be about 1 to 3 degrees higher than today. Seoul will get up to 26 degrees. Daegu and Gyeongju 23. Daejeon and Gwangju 25 degrees.

The south of the country will be seeing frequent showers until the end of this week. Although temperatures are on a rising trend, conditions will stay relatively cool, below 30 degrees.

That's all for now, and here are the weather conditions around the world.
