Nationwide showers tomorrow...central regions to see local downpours Updated: 2021-08-30 17:06:30 KST

It might be a good idea to keep those umbrellas handy for the next couple of days. The low pressure system approaching from the west, and the addition of unstable air, will highly increase the chances of rain until Thursday. As for tomorrow, nationwide showers are in the forecast. Rain will start from the west of the country in the morning, and will gradually spread nationwide by the afternoon.

Heavy showers are in store for Chungcheong-do and Gyeongsangbuk-do provinces, with up to 120 millimeters in forecast. Locally heavy downpours of 30 millimeters per hour are possible. Upper central regions, including the capital, as well as the South will see 5 to 40 millimeters.

We'll see a mix of clouds and rain for the morning hours. For the readings, Seoul, Daejeon and Daegu will start off at 21 degrees Celsius.

As for the daily highs, Seoul and Chuncheon will get up to 25 degrees. Daegu and Gyeongju also at 25. Gwangju 29.

There will be continuous rainfall until Thursday, dropping down the readings to near 25 degrees. Despite the frequent rain and decline in temperatures, summer is set last longer than expected this year.

That's all for now, and here are the weather conditions around the world.
