While the seasonal clock gets closer to the fall months, the autumn monsoon continues to spread showers across the country. This monsoon is particularly robust for the South of the nation, bringing local downpours of 20 millimeters per hour. The saturated ground is already very weak from the previous rain. Such conditions may raise the risk of landslides and further flooding, so please take extra precautions. On the other hand, central regions are only seeing on-and-off showers tonight.
Most of the rain is forecast to taper off by tomorrow morning. As for the amount of rain, Chungcheong-do Province and the South can expect up to 150 millimeters. Thunder and lightning may follow at times. The Seoul metropolitan area and southern Gangwon-do Province can expect 10 to 60 millimeters.
For the readings tomorrow, Seoul, Daegu and Gyeongju will start off at 21 degrees Celsius.
As for the daily highs, Seoul and Chuncheon will get up to 28 degrees. Gwangju, Jeju and Busan 29 degrees.
For this weekend, cloudy conditions will dominate across the capital region. Frequent showers are in the forecast again, next week.
That's all for now, and here are the weather conditions around the world.
