The uniform worn by South Korea's best-known female volleyball player, Kim Yeon-koung during her final appearance at the Olympics will be put on display at the Olympic Museum in Switzerland.
The Korea Volleyball Association on Monday said the IOC asked Kim to donate her number 10 jersey.
Kim wore the uniform at the Tokyo Olympics, before she announced her retirement from the national team after 17 years.
