Good morning. Those in Jeju and on the south coast will need to prepare for heavy rain today. A stationary front near Jeju will bring heavy rainfall and it has already started to rain on Jeju, which will gradually spread to rest of the south coast.
Into tomorrow, mountainous regions on Jeju could see more than 250 millimeters from downpours. Meanwhile, due to easterly winds, east of Gangwon-do Province will see rain from tomorrow.
Then the chance of passing rain will increase for inland regions in the afternoon. For now, the capital region is forecast to receive showers in the evening but keep an umbrella handy at all times.
Heat remains during the day but I must say much more bearable compared to the oppressive heat we had to endure in July. Seoul and Daegu will go up to 32 degrees this afternoon.
Rain continues in eastern Gangwon-do Province, southern provinces and Jeju through early next week.
That's Korea for you and here's a look at weather conditions around the world.
