Good morning. Heavy rain is soaking Jeju this morning dropping 30 millimeters an hour with heavy rain alerts while regions west of the capital including Incheon saw heavy sudden showers this morning.
In fact, southern inland regions and capital region will see 5 to 60 millimeters of passing rain while those in Jeju and the south coast need to brace for heavier showers, possibly up to 200 millimeters of downpours into tomorrow.
Temperature-wise, despite much more comfortable overnight temperatures, heat will remain during the day. A heat advisory is still in place across the west and Gyeongsang-do Provinces with an expected high of 33 degrees in Daegu.
Seoul and Gwangju going up to 32 degrees, Busan and Jeju at 30 with heavy rain in store.
And actually, we are looking at heavy showers on Jeju and the south through this week and even into next week.
