Good morning. Typhoon Lupit brought a massive amount of moisture to the Korean Peninsula dropping downpours along the east coast. Currently, Lupit is over seas near Osaka and continues to head towards Japan's inland regions.
Regions and seas in the east are under typhoon related alerts this morning, but the rain is tapering off and will stop from the afternoon, but until then, expect to see heavy showers along with strong gusts.
Temperature-wise, the east coast will get relief from the heat, but a sweltering day continues for most of us. Morning temperatures are slightly lower than the same time yesterday, Seoul and Busan at 25 degrees.
Seoul, Daegu, Daejeon will hit 33 degrees Celsius, but the south could be seeing on and off rain in the afternoon.
Temperatures will become much more bearable this week with frequent rain in other parts of the country.
