S. Korea to speed up plans for virtual meetings with N. Korea Updated: 2021-07-29 07:31:24 KST

Seoul will speed up plans to establish systems for virtual meetings since cross-border communication lines were restored.
An official from the Unification ministry told Yonhap News Wednesday, reviving inter-Korean dialogue is first on the agenda.
The South will suggest the idea to Pyeongyang.
In April the ministry completed a virtual conference system for that purpose at a cost of almost three-hundred-50-thousand U.S. dollars.
There should be no technical issues in holding such a session with the regime at some point in the near future.
