S. Korea's non-capital areas placed under Level 3 distancing restrictions until August 8 Updated: 2021-07-27 05:56:27 KST

Let's begin the COVID-19 situation here in the country.
As South Korea continues to grapple with a fourth wave, health authorities have placed non-capital areas under level three distancing rules for two weeks.
This means, from today, multi-use facilities including cafes and restaurants have to close by 10 p.m., with only takeout and delivery services allowed after that.
Pubs, bars and clubs must also shut by 10 p.m.
Private gatherings of more than five people are banned.
Large-scale events must be fewer than 50 people, until August 8th.
For the cities of Daejeon, Yangyang and Gimhae, which have seen a spike in cases, social distancing is now the highest level four, the same as the greater Seoul area.
