Archaeologists unearth 1,600 movable types from early Joseon Dynasty Updated: 2021-06-29 13:29:45 KST

Archaeologists in Seoul have discovered 16-hundred movable metal printing types from the Joseon Dynasty.
They were found buried in Seoul's Jongno-gu District, and they date back 600 years.
The Cultural Heritage Administration says this is the largest collection ever found in South Korea.
Archaeologists also unearthed other artifacts, including an astronomical clock and copper pieces from an automatic water clock.
