In late March, the Seoul Fashion Week for fall and winter was held online, and in just a month, videos from the event have gotten more than four.seven million views across various online video platforms.
That's about four times more than Fashion Week last autumn, which was also held online.
On YouTube, the show has gotten around 228-thousand views more than half of them from other countries, including the U.S. and Indonesia.
A Seoul city official said K-fashion is trending globally, and noted that foreign media like Vogue and Forbes have also reported on the event.
In the pandemic, the city of Seoul has been trying to support the Korean fashion industry by helping designers connect to the global market.
