Italy to allow 25% fan capacity at Euro 2020, other host cities yet to commit Updated: 2021-04-15 11:10:33 KST

The Italian government has given the green light to allow 25-percent fan capacity for the Euro 2020 football tournament, which was postponed for a year due to the pandemic.
The decision comes as the UEFA gave Rome, Munich, Bilbao and Dublin an extended deadline of April 19th to remain host cities if they provide guarantees letting a certain amount of fans into stadiums.
Rome will host three group matches, including the opening match between Italy and Turkey on June 11th.
