South Korea has vaccinated nearly a quarter million people since its nationwide vaccination program started a week ago.
The Korea Disease Control and Prevention Agency says a total of 67,153 people were added to the total on Thursday, raising the number inoculated to 225,853.
That's zero.43 percent of the population.
The military today flew almost 5-thousand doses to Jeju Island for health care workers there.
Prime Minister Chung Sye-kyun said Friday that by May the country will secure enough doses of the AstraZeneca vaccines for more than a million people through the COVAX facility.
