North Korea held an extended Cabinet plenary session to discuss securing independence for business activities.
The regime's state-run news agency said the session was held virtually on Thursday, presided over by North Korean Premier Kim Tok-hun, and briefed by vice premier Pak Jong-gun.
They discussed creating a favorable environment, including legal environment, for independent and active production and management by businesses.
They want to improve conditions based on its reformed economic system that allows more autonomy and leeway for businesses.
They also emphasized the Cabinet's role in boosting the economy.
