China has launched its unmanned mission to the moon.
With the successful launch of its ( -5) Chang'e-5 mission on Tuesday, China is seeking to become the first nation in five decades to collect lunar samples.
The team previously said it would be the most complicated mission by far.
They aim to collect two kilograms of samples from a previously unvisited area, using an unmanned spacecraft.
Previously, only the U.S. and the former Soviet Union have successfully retrieved lunar samples.
