Despite the continued uptick in COVID-19 infections in the U.S., a mass exodus of Americans has started in time for Thanksgiving.
The CDC had strongly advised people to refrain from traveling, but over 3-million Americans passed through airport checkpoints last weekend.
It's the highest number since the pandemic hit the U.S. in March.
The U.S. saw some 170-thousand new COVID-19 infections a day over the past seven days.
