The South Korean government will resume its distribution of discount coupons on Friday for travel packages, lodging and dining out to drive domestic spending in areas hit hard by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Starting Friday afternoon, the government will provide up to 30 percent discounts for over 11-hundred tour items.
The coupon can be downloaded from 2 PM from the website of travel agency Tidesquare.
The government will also resume its cashback program for dining out at restaurants.
If people eat out at restaurants three times, they will get a refund of around nine dollars on their fourth meal.
Card users can apply for the cashback through their card websites from 4 PM today.
