U.S. President Donald Trump has approved the agreement between the Chinese social media app 'TikTok' and U.S. software company 'Oracle.'
Trump spoke to reporters outside the White House on Saturday, local time, saying he has given the deal his blessing.
He approved the deal in concept and added that Oracle would ensure security to protect U.S. user data.
And, TikTok will be hiring at least 25-thousand people and contributing five billion U.S. dollars to fund education for Americans.
In early August, President Trump issued an executive order mandating ByteDance TikTok's Chinese owner to sell the application's U.S. operations by September 20th, or else, they'd be banned from operating in the U.S.
