U.S. stocks ended sharply lower Thursday, as investors rethink prospects for a quick economic rebound in the wake of the still raging pandemic.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average snapped a 4-day winning streak falling point-5 percent, and the S&P 500 dropped point-7-percent.
The tech-heavy NASDAQ also recorded its worst day in five sessions, falling 1.3 percent to finish at 10-thousand 910.
Oil prices rose, with Brent Crude up 2.6 percent.
WTI also climbed 2 percent to nearly 41-dollars a barrel.
