Despite the global pandemic, K-pop fans around the world will still be able to enjoy concerts by their favorite artists.
This as the South Korean government looks to expand venues for online concerts next year, with a massive increase in budget from the current 337-thousand U.S. dollars to almost 29-million dollars.
Seoul aims to spread Korean culture through online and non-contact measures.
BTS held a live virtual concert back in June, which was watched by over 750-thousand fans in 107 countries.
The government says expanding online concert venues will provide opportunities for other K-pop groups from smaller companies to meet and communicate with their global fans.
