Good morning, Seoul saw 47 millimeters of rain on Monday alone. Southern provinces were slammed by even heavier showers Jirisan Mountain in Gyeongsangnam-do Province has seen nearly 300 millimeters since Monday. It has died down, but do expect more light rainfall from time to time.
No rain advisories are in place, Seoul and the surrounding regions will see less than 5 millimeters while the rest of country will receive up to 30 millimeters.
Temperatures will stay on the cool side today, morning lows in most parts are in the upper teens.
Afternoon temperatures will be a couple notches higher this afternoon, but will be comfortable at 24 degrees in Seoul, Chuncheon and Gwangju. Carry a small umbrella with you just in case.
Heat and sunny skies return tomorrow and it will stay that way through Saturday. One last round of monsoon rain is in store from Sunday.
