Good morning, those in Daegu and parts of the Gyeongsang-do Provinces will need to prepare for extreme heat today. The season's first heat wave advisory is issued with temperatures expected to hover in the mid 30's under blazing sunshine.
Babies and young children as well as your pet and plants need special care during a heat wave, and slow down on caffeinated drinks. Instead, drink plenty of water.

Highs in Daegu and Gyeongju will be 35 degrees Celsius while Seoul will have top readings a couple degrees lower than yesterday at 26 degrees Celsius. Plenty of sunshine will shine down all day.
It could get hotter in Seoul from Saturday, which is Memorial Day in Korea. Sunny skies will continue to shine down.
