Total COVID-19 cases in S. Korea at 9,786; authorities working on blood plasma treatment Updated: 2020-03-31 17:15:25 KST

South Korea has reported 125 new cases on Tuesday,… bringing the national total to nine,seven-hundred-and-86.
The Korea CDC says 60 of new cases were in the hardest hit city of Daegu due to a cluster infection at a hospital.
Twenty-four were in Seoul.
The country also detected 15 imported cases at quarantine checkpoints.
Four more have died,… bringing the death toll to one-hundred-62.
Meanwhile, health authorities are working on guidelines to use blood plasma from those who have recovered from COVID-19 to treat patients in critical condition.
This blood plasma contains antibodies that can help fight COVID-19.
Such a measure was previously used during the MERS outbreak.
