South Korea on Saturday confirmed another one-hundred-five new cases of the coronavirus, bringing the national total to nine,five-hundred-83.
And according to the KCDC this morning, another eight people have died from COVID-19, raising South Korea's death toll to 1-hundred-52.
Of the latest infections,… 21 were brought in from overseas.
But the largest portion of them, at 42, were in the capital region -- 20 of those in Seoul itself coming from a cluster infection at a church in Guro district.
Another 15 were in the surrounding Gyeonggi-do Province and 7 in Incheon.
The region hardest hit so far -- Daegu and Gyeongsangbuk-do Province -- had 25.
Meanwhile, a couple and their baby have been found to have the virus again after having fully recovered.
The authorities are trying to find out whether this means that the virus, once subdued, can be reactivated.
