Time now for an in-depth look at the market news this afternoon.
And for that, I'm joined by Daniel Yoo, global strategist at Yuanta Securities.
Mr. Yoo, thank you as always for coming on today.
Stocks in U.S. got absolutely slammed on Thursday. The Dow falling by the most in history, in terms of points. It was a decline of more than 4 percent. The coronavirus fear really starting to hit the markets now. What's the story, Mr. Yoo?
Korean stocks following suit today. We're now below 2-thousand points. What happened today in the local market, and how bad is this going to get?
Meanwhile, the exchange rate -- we're still at well over 12-hundred won to the dollar. The Korean currency has weakened by several percent during this outbreak. Where do you see the won going?
Alright, Mr. Yoo.
We'll have to leave it there.
Thanks so much for coming on today.
