Japan's foreign ministry has confirmed a visit next week by the Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency, Rafael Mariano Grossi.
Tokyo-based Kyodo News Agency reports that Grossi will visit the Fukushima nuclear power plant next Wednesday.
While in Japan, he'll also will meet with the country's foreign and trade ministers.
They're likely to discuss how to deal with the radioactive water being stored at the plant, which is currently being decommissioned.
The IAEA chief will also pay a courtesy call to Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe.
