An earthquake in eastern Turkey has killed at least 29 people and injured more than 14-hundred.
The magnitude-6.8 quake hit Friday at around 9PM local time in Elazig province, toppling houses and forcing residents to evacuate.
Turkey's Disaster and Emergency Management Authority said there were more than 460 aftershocks.
President Erdogan cancelled his plans on Saturday and went to Elazig to inspect the rescue efforts.
There are concerns that the freezing cold there could cause the death toll to rise.
