As today marks the very day of Lunar New Year, many people are still going to their hometowns while others are coming back, meaning roads in and out of the capital are still congested.
According to the Korea Expressway Corporation, congestion on roads out of Seoul is expected to ease around 11 PM to midnight.
While congestion of roads returning to Seoul should ease tomorrow at around 2 to 3 AM.
The average estimated drive time between Seoul and Busan will be around six hours.
For people who are taking the bus or subway in Seoul, both services have been extended until 2 AM for Saturday and Sunday.
