The European Union is urging North Korea to come back to the nuclear negotiations.
In a statement on Wednesday, the EU Delegation to Geneva said North Korea's ballistic missile tests violate UN Security Council resolutions and slow down peace efforts on the Korean Peninsula.
Calling on the North to abide by its freeze on nuclear and missile tests, it called on the regime to take practical steps to build trust.
The statement comes after a North Korean representative in Geneva said on Tuesday that the North won't be tied to its promise to stop weapons testing.
As for why, the North claimed the U.S. had been hostile despite its efforts to mend ties.
