Time now for an in-depth look at the market news this afternoon.
And for that, I'm joined on the line by Dr. Song Soo-young, professor of business at Chung-Ang University.
Professor Song, thank you for coming on today.
The pneumonia virus from China is spreading to other countries in Asia and has even arrived in the United States. There are fears it could really go global, so what effect is this having economically or market-wise?
The financial markets and FX markets seem a little unnerved by the pneumonia situation. When there are diseases breaking out like this, what kind of effect does it usually have on the markets, and what do the Korean authorities need to do about this?
The World Economic Forum is now underway in Davos. President Trump will be there, so that puts an extra emphasis on diplomacy there. What kind of things should we be watching for at Davos?
Alright, Professor Song.
We'll have to leave it there for today.
Thanks so much for coming on and sharing your insights.
