Good morning. This cold snap continues to grip Korea. Temperatures will be similar to yesterday, but icy winds are making it feel colder, so you will want to layer up on your way out.
Northern parts of the country are dealing with severe cold and a cold wave advisory remains in place. Readings are few notches lower than yesterday. Again, wrap up warm.
For a closer look, Chuncheon is beginning the day at minus 8 degrees Celsius, Daegu and Gyeongju at minus 3. We'll see mostly sunny skies during the day.
Highs will range between 2 and 8 degrees Celsius, similar to yesterday. A dry weather advisory remains in place for many eastern regions, including Daegu, Ulsan and Busan.
The cold will ease from tomorrow afternoon and we can expect milder conditions this weekend.
