Good morning. It was a freezing start to the day for much of the country so bundle up on your way out. The cold snap is forecast to linger into tomorrow morning.
However, thanks to the chillier air, the dust has gone and we will have much fresher air today. Meanwhile, a strong wind advisory has been issued in for the Jeolla-do and Gyeongsang-do Provinces as well as Jeju. Inland regions can be quite windy too.
Afternoon highs will range from 2 to 8 degrees Celsius and skies will be fairly clear for most parts of the country.
It will be rather cloudy over the weekend. Nationwide rain on Sunday and Monday will bring extremely cold conditions to the country dragging the lows down to minus 9 degrees on the last day of 2019, then we'll hit the coldest time of the year.
