Good morning. It's a frosty start to the day so bundle up on your way out. Piercing winds blew in last night and dragged down the morning temperatures to as low as minus 6 degrees Celsius. The cold snap is forecast to linger into tomorrow morning.
But thanks to chillier air, the dust has mostly gone and we are waking up to decent air quality. Most regions are waking up to a freezing morning, while those in Jeolla-do and mountainous regions in Jeju will see a mix of rain and snow all morning.
Afternoon highs will range from 2 to 8 degrees Celsius and skies will be fairly clear for most parts of the country.
Nationwide rain on Sunday, which could linger into Monday, will bring teeth chattering conditions to the country, dragging the lows to minus 9 degrees on the last day of 2019.
